Team Contest Finalists and the Honorable Mentions in the written examination stage
★The team contest finalists are selected based on the total scores of the six team members in the respective subjects. The top 9 teams are chosen. Each school is allowed to have at most three teams enter the final round.
PS: Upon qualification review, the two candidates were found not to be currently enrolled full-time university students; therefore, their Excellence Awards are revoked.
Review and Appeal
2026 S.-T. Yau College Student Mathematics Contest implements a review and appeal system for scores. Please note the following procedures if you have any objections to the scores during the display period:
1. The organizing committee only accepts review and appeal applications from students who have won the Honorable Mentions in written examination stage or have been selected for the final round.
2. The organizing committee will not accept applications for score review initiated by individual students. If a student has any objections to the scores, they must submit a review request through the designated team leader from their school. Each school is allowed to submit review requests for up to three students per subject. The review should specify the reasons. In principle, the review will only check for errors in marking, omissions, and incorrect additions of points.
3. Each school should designate (at most) one person as the team leader. The team leader must be a faculty member or a current student of the school, representing the students of the school to submit review requests. Please contact Prof. Xu with the team leader's information (name, affiliation and position, email, and phone number), the list of students applying for review, and the related issues: mathxuhao@163.com.
4. The organizing committee will handle reviews and appeals from June 1 to June 7. Applications submitted after this period will not be accepted.
